Basketball Program Overview
The FBCG Dynamic Disciples Basketball Program is a highly competitive program in which there are tryouts for all teams. We have both boys and girls teams covering a wide variety of ages and grades. Any player that tries out for one of our teams but does not make the team will be referred to our Intramural Program where they are provided the opportunity to continue to develop their basketball skills.
PURPOSE
First Baptist Church of Glenarden is dedicated to the development of young dynamic disciples through the sport of basketball. We believe in commitment, time management, and academic excellence, through biblical principles.

iNTRAMURAL PROGRAM
The intramural program is used as our developmental program. We work with youth who have never played the sport as well as those who just need a little more refining before moving on to the next competitive level. While we develop young athletes on the court, we develop them off it as well. We focus on strengthening character and integrity, academics as well as community service. The goal of the ministry is to develop a dynamic athlete.
